My New Costume
Posted on | September 23, 2011 | No Comments
My friend just told me about a cool Halloween site known as My New Costume because I was looking for adult costumes info before October 31st creeps up on me. The online resource is good for my new costume info, for sure. But, do not forget to see the spooky sections on adult costumes and you may also get a kick out of homemade costumes topics! I know I did. Clicking on this link will send you directly to My New Costume: my new costume.
Dracula, Spiderman and even the standard ghost are likely to knock on your door this coming Halloween. You may want to think about reading up on ways to play up themes related to adult costumes and I would also suggest the same for homemade costumes ideas. One thing my friend mentioned to me is that he found the adult costumes pages a bite more interesting than those on my new costume. Maybe that was intentional when they build My New Costume. But, maybe it was not! You should think about your Halloween costume as you read My New Costume to make sure you have it planned our properly.
I love thinking about all of our old homemade costumes, and I suspect you will to as you read about homemade costumes or as you submit you best ideas for their section on my new costume. Often kids have the best Halloween costumes, and that’s what makes Halloween so much fun for all visitors to My New Costume. One of my fav things about My New Costume is that they often post short stories about adult costumes and I have even seen some funny poems about halloween costumes ideas. Probably about half of the content on My New Costume website comes from people who email them about topics like homemade costumes and I think that is pretty cool.
After you check it out, let us know your opinion and send you favorite my new costume advice our way. We love it when readers like you come to our site, and we would be pleased if you wanted to take a look at My New Costume by going to this hyperlink: halloween costumes.
On the Road
Posted on | May 3, 2010 | No Comments
It’s spring time, and this is the time of year that many bikers get their bikes ready for summer. Even the most pristine motorcycles need a little love. They need tune-ups and oil…. and a little shine always looks nice. I have a good friend that lives just north of San Francisco. Like clockwork, every year, he has a mechanic check out all of his vehicles… automobiles and motorcycles. I always refer to him as Mr. San Francisco auto repair in the spring time!
But, when you consider routine maintenance, most people neglect it so, even though I poke fun, I also applaud the persistence. He makes sure that his vehicles are well maintained, his cars last a long time and he rarely has any problems on the road. One of the most common repairs that needs to be checked every 75K miles is the timing belt. generally cracks and wears down over time. It’s also one of those repairs, that when left alone, causes significant problems. Fortunately, breaking a timing belt is probably not going to damage any other parts to your vehicle…. however, when it breaks, you’re stopping… getting a tow… and waiting for it to be fixed. That’s why it’s wise to have them checked from time to time. A good mechanic will let you know when it’s getting old and needs to be replaced.
That, of course, reminds me that it’s time for me to have my little Honda Accord checked out! Time to get some sleep so I can take care of it in the morning. With your vehicles, please stay safe and be prepared!
Monthly Savings

We know times are tough. Everyone is cutting back here or there. and the fact is that people are looking for more for their money. It’s the exact reason that people want to find motorcycles that have great resale value. There’s nothing worse than buying a motorcycle that loses 20% of it’s value when you put a thousand miles on it.
We know that you want value. Well, when you look at a motorcycle, it’s a one time cost. You pay the price for the bike you want and you’re done. However, insurance is something different. You need to constantly make sure you’re getting the most for your money. For a motorcycle, you’re not going to have to pay that much if you go liability. The fact is that you’re not likely to cause life threatening damage. However, you are at much greater personal risk if you’re on a motorcycle and you should make sure you’re covered. Do you know your medical insurance limits? It may be worth it to pick up some on your motorcycle insurance.
Most insurance is for vehicle so you’ll have to check around for cheap auto insurance quotes and make sure they insure motorcycles. In any case, the chances are that you own a vehicle as well and you’ll want to approach this as a bundled deal because that’s the best way to get cheap auto insurance.
In fact, it’s not just about cheap auto insurance. You may want to look at the best overall package that insures your home, motorcycle, boat, vehicles, jet ski’s, rental property and umbrella policy. It’s more likely that you’ll get a better deal when you’re insured via multiple avenues. It’s like everything else these days; bundling is much cheaper.
So, if you’re the type to look for the best resale value on your motorcycle, we figured that you would also be the type to look for the best deals on auto insurance. People that like to find value in one area tend to want to find value in all areas of their lives.
We hope you find the best rate!!! Good luck!!!
Cars are a Necessity

Let’s face it…. but they can still be fun too! Unless you’re a hard core biker that rides rain, sleet, snow or shine, you probably have a car. We’re going to take a look at a range of vehicles today. Personally, if it’s not a Harley, I like a truck. In the past, I’ve been partial to the Ford F Series and the Chevy Silverado. However, in recent years, I’ve taken a good look at the Toyota Tundra. It’s very well done and the reviews have been great. Of course, it’s like anything with Toyota these days. You have to wonder about the acceleration problem. I’ve haven’t heard anything about the trucks but it’s something that is certainly worth considering.
Now, if you’re not getting a truck, there’s always the BMW 7 Series which is fun, safe and luxorious. But hey, you get what you pay for, right. I will say that besides Lexus, BMW is definitely at the top of the list when it comes to customer service. Customer service is very important to me because it saves time. Saving time is extremely valuable to me. I’m not going to say priceless, but it’s definitely valuable.
Then, of course, there’s always the environmentally sound sports car, like the Tesla Roadster. This sports car is reported to have great acceleration and the interior is up and coming with more ammenities. The largest complaint is about the low range reported less than 200 miles when driven like a sports car… and some would like a bigger interior. Overall, it’s well liked for the most part, it’s a great looking sports car and the green energy will likely get you some benefit with Uncle Sam on your taxes.
Lastly, there’s the practical car like a chevy cobalt. If you spend every possible day on your bike and are just looking for something that gets you by on the unbearable days (cold, heat, rain, snow, etc), than something practical and fuel efficient may be just what you need.
Anyway, we’d love to hear your choices for a second vehicle (just like we’d like to hear about your favorite bikes).
Harley-Davidson

It’s commonly accepted that Harley-Davidson has the best resale value (as a generic rule) among all motorcycle brands. However, there’s even a more generic rule for re-sale value. The most popular motorcycles and vehicles have the best resale value.
Why? Well, they are popular for a reason. It goes back to the basic economic principles of supply and demand. If a motorcycle has a highly popular launch, it’s more likely to be remembered in 50 years and it’s more likely to maintain a higher value. High demand drives the price up!
Let’s take a look at one of the most popular Harley Davidson Models:

A Cool Place to Park Your Bike
Posted on | February 26, 2010 | No Comments
Look, the fact is that a man’s home is their castle. The last think you want to do is pull up that sparkling Fat Boy to an overgrown yard with dead trees… most likely, you’ll also want a cool place to hang your hat, kick back and have a few brews.
The way I try to do it is to find professionals to help. I’m always searching for the best landcaping in Dallas… and I’ve already got my Dallas Outdoor Kitchen. At this point, I’m just looking for things to add onto the backyard paradise. There’s really nothing better than getting out on the bike on an awesome summer day and then coming home to a few ice cold ones after the riding is done… just in time for sunset.
It’s all about balance and keeping it simple. We know you love to ride. We know that you’re looking for great value in your bike and we can only imagine you want to find value in everything you do. It’s definitely time to get your bikes ready for the season (despite the groundhog seeing his shadow) but it might also be time to think about a facelift on your backyard… which is also a great investment!
Not Quite Motorcycles

I had to make a comment because of what I’ve been hearing at work and seeing in the newspaper. It’s amazing that raising chickens is becoming as popular. It’s funny how things cycle. If you think about fashion for clothes, it seems to cycle every 20-30 years whereas auto body styles seem to cycle every 40-50 years. That’s not to say the all styles come back but there’s definitely a cycle where people get bored of things and then see them again many years later and all of a sudden it’s classic, new and exciting again. It’s amusing when you think about it.
However, there are some things that you just don’t see coming. For ages, people lived off of the land, raising their own food, collecting eggs, milking cows, canning vegetables and many domestic chores that have been dormant for city and suburban America for many years. Well, guess what? There seems to be a cycle. The transition to manufacturing these products was about convenience. People were tired of doing everything from growing to canning, collecting and killing their own food.
But now, we’re cycling back to gardening and raising chickens simply to increase the quality of our food. Organic vegetables, local butcher shops, nearby dairy farms and a resurgence in chicken coops is storming the market! Websites are popping up about organic gardening.
E-books on chicken coop plansare popping up all over the internet. That’s how it starts. There’s a desire for something. People start asking for it and business people start producing. For many years, chicken coops were about basic need and was thrown together with some wood and chicken wire. Now they’re practically a statement and made for style. They’ve even start developing Green Roof Chicken Coops! You have to check out that chicken coop website!
So, here I am worried about technology, chrome, rubber, miles per gallon and the open road… while the world is coming full circle back to the slower and more simple life. I don’t think we’re going back to horse and buggy but I do think people are looking for more of an outlet back to nature. I think, in a strange way, it’s part of the appeal to motorcycles. After all, it is a steel horse, you get more of a feel for the road, the sounds, the sights and the smells. Sometimes, that’s more pleasant than others but it’s more of a sense of accomplishment. I know that computers make things more efficient and everything is on hyper-speed in comparison to what it was 100 years ago or even 25 years ago. But for the worker that’s doing data entry or updating networks, it’s not always that rewarding. There are many more jobs where it’s very difficult to see the fruits of your labor. Whereas, building a rail road, car, building, road, or harvesting a garden, you feel like you did something and I believe people need that.
Anyway, thanks for reading… from motorcycles to chicken coops, stay tuned, I’ll keep you posted!
Wear Halloween costumes and have fun
Posted on | September 28, 2009 | No Comments
Halloween day was coming soon and my friends and I were planning on what dress to wear for that occasion and we wanted to try out something different than others. We were in a fix if we should purchase Halloween costumes from the stores or use homemade costumes, but homemade, we didn’t know how to make them also. Then my uncle gave us suggestion of browsing the internet and from that we found this fabulous website by way of which we got many fabulous collections and seeing that itself we knew that ours would be the best.
All of us chose our Halloween costumes and my small sister was adamant that also wanted Halloween costumes on her own and my mother decided to make homemade costumes for her. She referred to this website and found so many kinds of pet costumes and my little sister selected the pet she loved the most and mother took great pains to design them for her and indeed she did look beautiful. Meanwhile my friends and me, ordered them online and we received costumes and we had a good time on that day and of course our costumes were the best and we won some prizes. My little sister too won a gift and my mom was very happy for her.
Purchase tattoo designs online
Posted on | September 23, 2009 | No Comments
I am usually a great lover of tattoos and wherever I see some tattoo designs, I would want to try them, but I was finding them to be very expensive and my father was also scolding for spending so much on tattoos. I then would think that I wouldn’t buy tattoos again, but as I like to wear tattoos that match my dress, so that is an impossible task for me. I once had gone to Rita’s house and I already knew she likes tattoos so much and she has a good collection, but I hadn’t seen that. So, when I went to Rita’s house the other day, I was amazed at the huge collection she had and I envied her a lot.
From that time, I was determined that I also wanted one, and my mother asked me to browse through the above website and I was surprised to see plenty of tattoo designs and my mother was also amazed at the designs and she gave me permission to purchase them online. There were so many varieties and finally I chose some designs and ordered them online. Now I have my own tattoo gallery and my designs are much better than my friend’s because lots of other friends told that mine was the best.
Life becomes a lot more exciting with new costume designs

One needs to be totally creative in order to arrive at a decision on the kind of costume that would suit us. If it is a Halloween costume, you could think of something that was a bit spooky. In fact, looking like a scarecrow is something that many people think of. Of course, it is essential for you to keep thinking of something new and different every time Halloween comes around.
The other option that you could think of is having a homemade costume. This is an interesting option, because it allows you to experiment and come out with something that is truly original. A couple of weeks ago, at a fancy dress competition, it would good to see a little girl come dressed to the show like a three tiered wedding cake. Her face was barely visible and her costume that was completely homemade seemed to have been thought of and executed by her doting mother.
The next time you have to get your child ready for a competition do not hesitate to scour the net for ideas. You will surely be surprised at all that you find. If you have to make costumes for your kid and his friends, try to be as creative as possible.
